The Harley-Davidson Nightster Special needed some differentiation between the regular Nightster, so we thought a hard medallion would separate the look and feel being that the other bike had wetslide graphics. We never really designed a hard medallion badge referencing our popular 1970’s AMF-era tank graphics, so I was stoked to take on the challenge of developing a logo for this bike in that form. A little Helvetica Neue Bold and some thick lines felt like a timeless approach.
